We offer the trusted PayPal Express gateway for PayPal and Credit Card transactions. You may either use your PayPal account or if you do not have a PayPal account simply select the credit card option in the PayPal checkout. PayPal is our preferred method of payment because it provides a high level of security for our customers. Two of the reasons for trusting the security of PayPal are that:
- Your sensitive financial information is securely stored on PayPal’s servers
- We never see your financial information , even though we receive your payment from PayPal
The item(s) you order will only be put aside and shipped once payment has been received.
You are entitled to returns as per the Australian Consumer Law. If you find your purchased item is unsuitable after you receive it (eg. the jersey is too big see note at end of this section), you may contact us (email@example.com) to arrange an exchange of that item. You do not have to choose a replacement that is the same as the original item and can instead choose from for the complete range of apparel and related accessories available on our website. Credit Notes (valid for 2 years) will be provided if you are unable to find a suitable exchange within our online store range at the time you request an exchange. Please note:
- you can only request items available via the Cycle Closet website
- the Policy on this page does not apply to custom orders for kit made to measure etc
You must contact us as soon as practical, but certainly within thirty (30) days of delivery to notify us of your intention to exchange. The items must be unused with all original tags attached and item packaging undamaged where possible. You may try on the purchased items to determine fit. However, an exchange may not be available where we can see that the apparel has been worn other than simply to determine fit, eg. worn when you have gone for a ride. You are responsible for postal charges related to returning items for exchange.
Your exchange items will be posted to you (without charges for postage or handling) together with a Credit Note if there is any difference in price between the original items and your exchange (if it is a lower price). If the price of items you want to exchange the original items for is greater than the original purchased, a PayPal invoice for the payment of the difference will be arranged prior to shipping.
Please contact us before you finalise your cart if you have any queries about any features of a particular item and would like advice from our experienced staff of cyclists. You can email or telephone for help, but please include your preferred contact method so we can get in touch with you. Our aim is to contact you within two (2) working days. To obtain a refund/exchange for the purchased cycling apparel you have problems with, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within thirty (30) days of delivery. For all refund/exchange requests that you contact us about via an email to email@example.com, you should include:
- A full description of the nature of the issues
- The package arrival date
- The tracking Number of your package
You are expected to post the “rejected” items back to our Adelaide store as part of the requirements to obtain your refund/exchange, using standard post rate. This must include tracking. If you find you have a faulty or non-performing item, you can request a full refund of the purchase price together with original postage fees.
Your refund will be processed once we have verified the tracking number of the package you have mailed back to us. Original and return postage fees will be refunded for faulty or non-performing items once the specified feature is verified upon receipt of the item at our Cycle Closet store in Adelaide, Australia.
Refunds or exchanges are available if items are delivered in damaged condition due to mishandling by our shipping agents. In such cases, you will need to provide us with photographic evidence of the damage to the parcel, the item packaging and the item itself.
Refunds or exchanges will automatically be available where you find that your purchased items are faulty, based on the description contained on this website. Those items must be returned unused with all tags attached. Of course, you may try on your purchased apparel to check for fit and functionality of components (such as pocket zippers). Please note that a refund is unlikely to be provided where there’s visible evidence of the items having been used for riding. The exception to this “New” requirement, is if the refund request is because your item didn’t perform as represented on this website when you wore it cycling.
Refund of the full purchase price, but not shipping costs, will be available if you simply change your mind about an item. You must of course, return the item you no longer want in the original packaging with all labels.
