At Cycle Closet, we believe finding the right cycling gear should be as enjoyable as the ride itself.

Our story began in 2015 when passionate cyclist Julian Carne grew tired of the limited range of cycling apparel available in traditional bike shops. After all, bike shops are built to sell bikes. Finding clothing that fit well, looked great and performed on the road often meant taking a gamble online, with no chance to see it, feel it or try it on.

Julian knew there had to be a better way.

So Cycle Closet was born with a simple idea: create a store dedicated to cycling apparel, offering an extensive range of quality brands, honest expert advice and a welcoming place where cyclists could try on gear before they bought it.

More than a decade later, that vision is still at the heart of everything we do.

Today, Cycle Closet has become one of Adelaide’s best-known destinations for cycling apparel. We’ve built an incredibly loyal community of riders who trust us to help them find the right kit, whether they’re heading out for their very first ride, training for a gran fondo or chasing personal bests. During the Tour Down Under, we’re also proud to welcome cyclists from across Australia and around the world who make us a must-visit stop while they’re in Adelaide.
