I am not a great rider. I love my riding and have the luxury of riding most days and my pain point is my sit bones My other knicks had seen better days. I had tried the Neo brand and they are kit for me and pretty much pilled after a couple of months. So straight after deliver was a 150 k organised ride and they delivered in spades. Great cargo bibs with pockets that can fit six muesli bars, for those long rides. Very comfortable with slightly longer legs, to keepbswayvthe autumn chill.

Really great advice and choice from Cycle closet. He took time to explain each jacket, and what I wanted in a new jacket. The Castelli jacket has been great for wind so far. Have only had a sprinkling of rain on it so, so don't know how good yet but confident in the recommendation from Cycle closet.

On the first ride, these seemed very comfortable and a level above other liners I’ve used.

The chamois seems thin in the middle, which may be by design, but I’ll be interested in durability over time. This may also make them faster drying, which could be an advantage for multi-day trips.

The price point is very competitive, especially for a liner with a chamois designed to deliver a road bibshort level of comfort.

My first cycling gloves were Santini given as a present, my friend said - “Nothing but the best “ and they were right! - and I keep buying them ,These summer gloves keep your hands cool with their mesh back, nose wiped with the absorbent fabric on the back of the thumb and palms protected on the bars with just the right amount of padding . Great lightweight summer gloves.

That’s why you need one of these, there’s not much to it so you won’t know it’s there under your helmet - but it’s got enough wicking power to evaporate sweat off your brow before it mixes with the sunscreen and gets in your eyes( just what you don’t want halfway up Greenhill rd). Essential warm weather gear for us sweaty types.
