Pearl Izumi runs roomier than the Italian brands. Most riders take their normal size. Women’s figures are converted from Pearl Izumi’s published inch measurements, so treat them as close rather than exact.

How to measure

  • Chest: under your arms, around the fullest part, arms relaxed at your sides
  • Waist: around your natural waistline, tape held loose
  • Hips: around the widest part
  • Inseam: from crotch to floor, no shoes

Measure over the underwear you would ride in and keep the tape horizontal. All measurements refer to your body, not the garment.

Two rules that work across every brand. Buying a jacket to wear over a jersey? Take your normal size or size up. Buying a thermal jersey to wear under a jacket? Size down if you are between sizes and want it close.

DESCRIPTION

Let’s get real, toe covers are a great way to deal with cold weather. They can be pulled over the toe of most cycling shoes and left on for the whole winter, and people do more miles on 45-degree days than they do on 25-degree days (even in Canada). Our toe covers use our AmFIB® softshell fabric to keep out the wind and rain and we positioned the band to sit behind toe spikes so that they will work with road or mountain shoes. Kevlar on the underside increases durability while the hook and loop closure makes the fit adjustable and the mounting quick.
