Assos sizing

Assos cuts very close and uses its own sizing system. Most riders take one size larger than they expect.

How to measure

  • Chest: under your arms, around the fullest part, arms relaxed at your sides
  • Waist: around your natural waistline, tape held loose
  • Hips: around the widest part
  • Inseam: from crotch to floor, no shoes

Measure over the underwear you would ride in and keep the tape horizontal. All measurements refer to your body, not the garment.

Two rules that work across every brand. Buying a jacket to wear over a jersey? Take your normal size or size up. Buying a thermal jersey to wear under a jacket? Size down if you are between sizes and want it close.

Temperature regulation is the key performance indicator of any base layer, and this is especially true for a winter version. But winter poses a specific host of challenges not found in other climaCodes, namely in the form of added cold air and your additional layers. This is where the new Winter LS Skin Layer by Assos fills the gap, tuned with a thicker knit “weight,” taller collar, and more stretch than their Spring/Fall version for boosted insulation and flexibility under your outer apparel.

A long-sleeved base layer tuned for the cold, demanding conditions of winter riding, featuring an insulating knit structure and seamless construction to keep you dry and insulated from the base up.

FEATURES

FEATURED FABRICS: A winter-tuned blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns—plus elastane— are employed, which draws moisture away from your skin and insulates your core, keeping you dry, insulated, and comfortable from the outset.

CONSTRUCTION-FIT:  The Winter Skin Layer relies on a Circular Seamless construction that’s free of irritating side seams. The front and back panels are merged with raglan-cut sleeves, with a stitch line that continues up to the collar for a full range of motion in the saddle.

XS = XS

S = S = 0

M = M = I
