Assos sizing

Assos cuts very close and uses its own sizing system. Most riders take one size larger than they expect.

We are waiting on Assos’s published measurement table. If you are between sizes or new to the brand, contact us with your measurements and we will check the garment for you, or visit the Adelaide showroom.

How to measure

  • Chest: under your arms, around the fullest part, arms relaxed at your sides
  • Waist: around your natural waistline, tape held loose
  • Hips: around the widest part
  • Inseam: from crotch to floor, no shoes

Measure over the underwear you would ride in and keep the tape horizontal. All measurements refer to your body, not the garment.

Two rules that work across every brand. Buying a jacket to wear over a jersey? Take your normal size or size up. Buying a thermal jersey to wear under a jacket? Size down if you are between sizes and want it close.

This technical team-issue jersey is what the Assos professional team riders zip into during the warmer race days. We've worked closely with these athletes to further refine their short-sleeve jerseys, and the result has brought us to what you see here: a superlight aerodynamic jersey that addresses the minute fit and comfort details that become noticed only after countless hours in the saddle. Assos landed on their airy miniCheck Tex for the front panel, which is a highly elastic 3D knit fabric that's been specifically developed with breathability in mind.

ASSOS SIZING

ASSOS apparel is carefully designed and constructed to fit best in the riding position.  The naming convention used by ASSOS in relation to standard size naming convention is as follows:

XS = XS, S = S. M = M, L = L, XL = XL, XLG = 2XL, TIR = 3XL
