Kask helmets: Italian engineering for road, MTB and everyday riding

Kask was founded in 2004 by Angelo Gotti in the Bergamo region of Italy, and builds every helmet around what the company calls its CSD philosophy (Comfort, Safety, Design), treating all three as non-negotiable rather than trading one off against the others.

The range explained

Kask's helmets are aimed at quite different riders: the Valegro is built as a lightweight, minimal-vent option for racing and hot-weather climbing, the Protone ICON is Kask's aero road helmet, the Elemento WG11 sits at the top of the range as their flagship all-round performance helmet, and the Mojito 3 WG11 and Utopia WG11 are more relaxed, better-ventilated options for everyday and endurance riding. The Nirvana adds a lightweight in-mould shell aimed at road and gravel, and the Bambino Pro brings the same protection down to a kids' size, with new models joining the lineup as Kask releases them.

Fit

Rather than one shell with heavily-adjustable padding, Kask helmets are built across multiple shell sizes with an adjustable rear cradle for fine-tuning, so getting the size chart right for your specific model matters more than it does with some other brands.
