Fizik cycling shoes: Italian engineering for road, gravel and triathlon

Fizik was founded in 1996 in Vicenza, Italy, as part of the Selle Royal Group, and built its reputation on saddle design before extending the same ergonomics-first approach into cycling shoes.

The range explained

Our Fizik collection covers a spread of disciplines: the Tempo R5 and R4 (Powerstrap and Overcurve closures) sit at the everyday-performance end for road riding, the Vega Carbon is Fizik's race-focused carbon-soled road shoe, the Terra Atlas is built for mountain biking, the Vento Proxy is aimed at gravel and MTB, and the Transiro Hydra and Hydra Aeroweave Carbon are quick-entry shoes designed specifically for triathlon transitions, with the lineup updated as Fizik releases new models.

Fizik shoes are built on the brand's own last shape and generally run true to size with a snug, low-volume fit, so if you have a wider foot, it's worth checking reviews on the specific model rather than assuming it fits like another brand's shoe in the same size.
