Nerd Belts race belts: built by an IRONMAN champion to solve his own problem

Nerd Belts was founded in 2023 in Adelaide by Steve McKenna, a professional triathlete who won IRONMAN Australia in 2023 and IRONMAN New Zealand in 2024. The first belt was a homemade fix for race-day bounce that he used to win IRONMAN Australia; word spread through the triathlon community, and a 2023 pre-order of 500 belts sold out almost immediately.
